Pray through Advent with Lectio 365, our daily devotional app
This Advent, we will prepare to celebrate the coming of Christ through two incredible expressions of creativity. The first is the prolougue to John’s Gospel – potentially the greatest poetic introduction to Jesus as the Word; God with us. The second, is the Great O Anitphons – ancient songs that meditate on a name of Jesus and an aspect of his character traditionally sung in the approach to Christmas. Through these stunning works of creativity we will prepare our hearts to celebrate when Christ came to Bethlehem, to welcome his coming today and to call for his return once more.

The weeks before Christmas can be hectic, but they also present a real opportunity for reflection, celebration, and generosity as the family of God.
This guide has five creative prayer stations to help you and your community focus on who Jesus is, who we are in Him and how we can share His love to those around us this season.
You can use these ideas in a prayer room, a small group setting, or for interactive prayer in as part of a church service.
