Anti-Trafficking Campaign

A Global Crisis Hidden in Plain Sight

Human Trafficking is the second largest and the fastest growing criminal industry in the world. As a result, there are more slaves today than at any other time in history, with tens of millions of victims around the world. Tragically, it is believed less than one percent are rescued. The most common forms in the US are commercial sex and labor trafficking compelled through force, fraud or coercion. There are reported instances in all 50 states.

A Call to Pray and Act Ahead of the 2026 World Cup

The scale of this terrible injustice makes it worthy of our prayer and engagement at all times. However, major global sporting events have been shown to lead to a surge in victimization. With the World Cup coming to North America in 2026, we feel compelled to call for a special focus on human trafficking related intercession and action from now through June 2026.

How You Can Join In

You and your community are invited to join us in night and day prayer during January (US HT Awareness Month) and June (Global HT Awareness Month). You can sign up to organize prayer for as little as one 24-hour day or for as many consecutive days as you like.

Walk, Worship, and Pray for Justice

We will also be collaborating with local partners to organize prayer walks in a few of the World Cup host cities in June. There will be a Virtual Prayer Vigil on January 11 (US HT Awareness Day). Explore our site for more resources and key activations curated in collaboration with our friends at organizations like IJM and A21. Let’s join together as praying communities to seek God for breakthrough in the fight against the abuse of these dear ones who bear His image.

Isaiah 61:1-4

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
    because the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor;
he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor,
    and the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
    to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
    the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
    the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.
They shall build up the ancient ruins;
they shall raise up the former devastations;
they shall repair the ruined cities,
    the devastations of many generations.

Will you join us in standing against this evil?
